- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a square baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and softened butter until crumbly. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and maple syrup until smooth.
- Pour the filling mixture over the crust and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the filling is set and lightly browned on top.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
