This Cajun Garlic Butter Grilled Shrimp Skewers recipe combines spicy Cajun seasoning with rich garlic butter and fresh lemon juice. It’s quick, versatile, and perfect for any occasion, delivering bold flavor with minimal effort.

  • Total Time: 43 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds large shrimp (peeled and deveined, with tails on)

  • 1 stick Danish Creamery European-Style Sea Salt Butter (melted)

  • 3 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons parsley (chopped)

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

  • Optional: Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

  • In a bowl, whisk melted butter, 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning, parsley, garlic, and lemon juice. Reserve half for basting.

  • Place shrimp in a large bowl; pour half the butter mixture over shrimp. Add remaining 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning. Toss to coat.

  • Thread shrimp onto skewers and place on a sheet pan.

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill shrimp skewers 3-4 minutes per side until opaque and slightly charred.

  • Brush reserved butter sauce over shrimp while grilling. If sauce solidifies, microwave for 15 seconds to melt.

  • Serve hot with optional lemon slices.

Notes

  • Use metal skewers if you prefer to skip soaking.

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for milder or spicier flavor.

  • Can be cooked on grill pan or skillet indoors if a grill is unavailable.
