Ingredients
-
2 pounds large shrimp (peeled and deveined, with tails on)
-
1 stick Danish Creamery European-Style Sea Salt Butter (melted)
-
3 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
-
2 tablespoons parsley (chopped)
-
2 cloves garlic (minced)
-
Juice of 1 lemon
-
Skewers (wooden or metal)
-
Optional: Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
-
Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
-
In a bowl, whisk melted butter, 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning, parsley, garlic, and lemon juice. Reserve half for basting.
-
Place shrimp in a large bowl; pour half the butter mixture over shrimp. Add remaining 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning. Toss to coat.
-
Thread shrimp onto skewers and place on a sheet pan.
-
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill shrimp skewers 3-4 minutes per side until opaque and slightly charred.
-
Brush reserved butter sauce over shrimp while grilling. If sauce solidifies, microwave for 15 seconds to melt.
-
Serve hot with optional lemon slices.
Notes
-
Use metal skewers if you prefer to skip soaking.
-
Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for milder or spicier flavor.
-
Can be cooked on grill pan or skillet indoors if a grill is unavailable.
