These Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter Bites are a frozen treat that blends creamy peanut butter, sweet banana slices, and a smooth chocolate coating. Perfect for satisfying sweet cravings without reaching for processed snacks, they’re easy to prepare and even easier to enjoy.

  • Total Time: 0 minutes (plus 75 minutes total freeze time)
  • Yield: About 15–20 bites depending on banana size

Ingredients

  • Bananas (firm, ripe)

  • Peanut Butter (natural, no added sugar)

  • Melted Chocolate (dark, milk, or dairy-free)

Instructions

  • Slice the bananas into rounds approximately 3/8″ to 1/2″ thick.

  • Spread a good layer of peanut butter onto one banana slice, then top with another slice to form a sandwich.

  • Place all banana sandwiches on a parchment-lined tray and freeze until firm (about 45 minutes).

  • While the bites are freezing, melt your preferred chocolate until smooth. Allow it to cool slightly.

  • Remove banana bites from the freezer. Using a toothpick, dip each sandwich into the melted chocolate until fully coated.

  • Place coated bites onto a fresh parchment-lined tray.

  • Freeze again until the chocolate is completely set (at least 30 minutes).

  • Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

  • Use almond or sunflower seed butter if peanut allergies are a concern.

  • For extra crunch, roll freshly coated bites in crushed nuts or seeds.

  • Let them sit for 2–3 minutes at room temperature before serving if preferred softer.
