Ingredients
-
1 box of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (5 cakes)
-
8 ounces white chocolate or candy melts
-
3 tablespoons festive sprinkles
-
3 tablespoons red candy melts (optional, for drizzling)
-
Green sanding sugar for decoration
Instructions
-
Unwrap the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and place them in a large bowl.
-
Mix the cakes with a handheld mixer until a crumbly dough forms. Stir in festive sprinkles.
-
Scoop a tablespoon of the dough and roll it between your palms to form a ball. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat for all dough.
-
Chill the cake balls in the fridge for about 10 minutes to firm up.
-
Melt white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler. Stir until smooth.
-
Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate using a fork or dipping tool. Allow excess chocolate to drip off and place back on the baking sheet.
-
Melt red candy melts in a piping or ziplock bag in 30-second increments, massaging the bag between intervals. Snip a corner and drizzle over truffles.
-
Sprinkle green sanding sugar on top and refrigerate until chocolate sets. Serve or gift.
Notes
-
Use any soft cake if Little Debbie cakes aren’t available.
-
Customize with different chocolate, sprinkles, or edible decorations.
-
