- 4 sausage links (chicken, turkey, or beef)
- 4 slices thick bread (brioche or Texas toast)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the sausage links until browned and fully cooked; allow them to cool slightly.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin, place a sausage link at one end, and roll tightly.
- Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture until fully coated and place seam-side down in the skillet.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Serve warm, optionally dusted with powdered sugar and accompanied by maple syrup.
