  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tubes refrigerated crescent rolls

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 3 tbsp sour cream

  • 2 tbsp jarred salsa

  • 1 1/4 lb ground beef

  • 1 envelope taco seasoning

  • 3 to 4 diced roma tomatoes

  • 4 to 5 oz shredded cheddar jack cheese

  • 1/2 oz bag shredded lettuce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Unroll crescent rolls on a baking sheet and press seams together to form one crust.

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes or until lightly golden. Let it cool completely.

  • In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, and salsa until smooth.

  • In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain fat.

  • Add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water; stir and simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust.

  • Spoon the seasoned beef over the creamy layer.

  • Sprinkle shredded cheese, then add diced tomatoes.

  • Top with shredded lettuce before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure the crust is fully cooled before adding toppings to avoid sogginess.

  • Add toppings like black beans, corn, or jalapeños for extra flavor.

  • For a lighter option, substitute beef with ground chicken or turkey.
