Ingredients
-
1 (28-ounce) can whole tomatoes, drained
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
1 teaspoon white apple vinegar
-
1 teaspoon dried oregano
-
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
-
3 (10-inch) flour tortillas
-
2 teaspoons olive oil
-
4 slices mozzarella cheese
-
1 slice cheddar cheese
-
4 large black olives
-
1/4 cup pizza sauce
-
2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
-
Drain the canned whole tomatoes and place them in a saucepan. Add minced garlic, olive oil, apple vinegar, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and cool.
-
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Brush both sides of the tortillas with olive oil and bake for 3 minutes until slightly firm.
-
Spread a thin layer of prepared tomato sauce over each tortilla.
-
Cut ghost, pumpkin, or monster shapes from mozzarella and cheddar cheese slices. Arrange them on top of the sauce.
-
Slice black olives to create eyes, mouths, or spider legs. Add them over the cheese.
-
Sprinkle a bit of shredded mozzarella for extra cheesiness.
-
Bake again for 5 to 8 minutes, until cheese melts and tortillas are crisp around the edges.
-
Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm and enjoy your spooky creations!
