- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 4–5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Pasta: Boil salted water in a large pot. Add linguine and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Chicken: In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Season chicken with salt and pepper; cook for about 6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and slice.
- Sauté Garlic: Add minced garlic to the remaining butter in the skillet; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Make the Sauce: Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice; simmer gently while stirring to combine flavors.
- Combine Ingredients: Return sliced chicken to the skillet along with cooked linguine; toss until well coated in sauce.
- Garnish and Serve: Add chopped parsley for freshness and serve with additional melted butter if desired.
