- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and brown sugar. Gradually fold this mixture into the melted chocolate mixture until fully combined.
- Mix in the vanilla extract thoroughly.
- Pour half the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Refrigerate for about one hour until set.
- Layer the remaining mixture on top and return to the fridge until fully chilled.
- Cut into squares and enjoy!
