- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Zest of 1 medium orange
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 tsp plant-based gelling agent (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat until simmering. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
- Mix in freshly grated orange zest.
- Gradually whisk in powdered sugar until fully incorporated and smooth.
- Cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm enough to handle.
- Scoop out small portions using a melon baller or spoon, rolling them into balls with your hands.
- Melt additional chocolate chips and dip each truffle in it, allowing excess to drip off before placing on parchment paper to set.
