- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 1 oz packet Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
- 1 oz packet Au Jus gravy mix
- 1/2 cup banana peppers (whole or sliced)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Cut the butter into small cubes and distribute evenly over the chicken.
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix on top.
- Pour the banana peppers (with their juices) over all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours until chicken is fork-tender.
- Shred the chicken in the crockpot using two forks, mixing well before serving.
