- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 cucumber, grated
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, parsley, oregano, garlic, onion, breadcrumbs, and egg; mix gently until just combined.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach at least 165°F).
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the tzatziki by mixing grated cucumber with yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Serve warm meatballs drizzled with tzatziki sauce.
