- 2 lbs bone-in chicken thighs
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup pure honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
Instructions
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chicken broth.
- Heat oil in a skillet and sear the chicken thighs for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the seared chicken to the slow cooker and pour the marinade over it.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Serve drizzled with sauce alongside steamed rice or vegetables.
