Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the milk and butter; set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla until frothy; gradually mix in the warm milk mixture.
- Combine wet ingredients into dry ingredients and fold gently until just mixed.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
