This pumpkin spice milk combines real pumpkin, warm spices, and natural sweetness to create a creamy, cozy drink perfect for fall. Because it can be served warm or cold, it fits every mood and season. Also, it comes together quickly with simple ingredients and delivers comforting autumn flavor in every sip.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup / 240 ml / 8 fl oz milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)

  • 1/4 cup / 50 g / 1.7 oz pumpkin puree or canned pumpkin

  • 1 tbsp clear honey (or maple syrup)

  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

  • dollop of whipped cream

  • pinch of pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  • Add the milk, pumpkin puree, honey, and pumpkin pie spice into a blender. Then blend until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. Alternatively, place all ingredients into a large jar and blend using an immersion blender until fully combined.

  • To prepare a warm version, pour the blended mixture into a small saucepan. Then heat over medium-high heat, whisking constantly until warm and steaming. Avoid boiling to preserve a silky texture.

  • Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or spice if needed. Add more honey for extra sweetness or a pinch more pumpkin spice for a stronger fall flavor.

  • Pour the finished pumpkin milk into a mug or glass. Then add a dollop of whipped cream on top, and sprinkle with a small pinch of pumpkin spice.

  • Serve immediately and enjoy warm or cold.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free version, use oat milk or almond milk.

  • Adjust the spice level to your taste.

  • Whisk continuously when heating to keep the mixture smooth.

  • Blend again before serving if making ahead, since pumpkin may settle.
