These Strawberry Pretzel Salad Parfaits are a modern twist on the classic Southern dessert. With layers of sugared strawberries, fluffy vanilla-strawberry whipped cream, and crunchy cinnamon butter pretzels, this no-bake treat is perfect for any occasion. Easy to assemble, crowd-pleasing, and refreshingly light, it’s a dessert that’s as beautiful as it is delicious.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1214 fresh strawberries, washed, tops removed, and diced

  • 2 tsp granulated sugar

  • 1½ cups mini pretzels

  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

  • Scant 1/8 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  • 2 tbsp light brown sugar

  • 1/8 tsp Vanilla Extract (Alcohol-Free)

  • 1/8 tsp imitation strawberry extract

Instructions

  • Dice strawberries and place them in a bowl. Sprinkle with granulated sugar, stir to coat, then refrigerate for 30 minutes to draw out juices.

  • Pulse pretzels in a food processor until broken into small pieces. Add melted butter and cinnamon, then pulse again briefly until combined. Set aside.

  • In a stand mixer, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently whisk in the brown sugar, Vanilla Extract (Alcohol-Free), and imitation strawberry extract.

  • Assemble parfaits in cups: Start with a whipped cream layer, then strawberries, followed by pretzels. Repeat the layers.

  • Finish each parfait with a dollop of whipped cream, a strawberry slice, and a mini pretzel on top. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the whipped cream or it will turn into butter.

  • For best texture, serve right after assembling.

  • Optional: chill the mixing bowl and whisk for quicker cream whipping.

  • Recipe can be doubled for larger servings or crowds.
