No reviews

This easy peach sorbet is a refreshing, fruity dessert made with just three ingredients. You don’t need an ice cream maker—just a food processor and a freezer. It’s naturally sweet, brightened with lemon juice, and perfect for hot days.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 800 g ripe yellow peaches, peeled and sliced (fresh or frozen)

  • 200 g caster sugar

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice, or to taste

Instructions

  • Wash the peaches thoroughly if using fresh. Slice each peach into 8 segments and peel each slice.

  • Add the peach slices and caster sugar into the bowl of a food processor. Blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.

  • Once fully blended, add lemon juice. Start with 1 tablespoon, then blend and taste. Adjust the amount of lemon juice to your preference.

  • Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and smooth the surface.

  • Cover the container tightly with a lid or plastic wrap.

  • Freeze for 6 to 7 hours, or until firm.

  • Before serving, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes to soften slightly. Scoop and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You may use thawed frozen peaches if fresh are unavailable.

  • Adjust lemon juice for more or less tartness.

  • Use a metal container for faster freezing.

  • For a softer texture, add 1–2 tablespoons of coconut milk during blending.
