- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 4 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat, then add chopped onions and minced garlic; cook until softened.
- Peel and slice potatoes thinly; soak in cold water to prevent browning.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the baking dish, followed by half of the beef mixture; repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Combine beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; pour evenly over the casserole.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until potatoes are tender and golden.
