This Watermelon Berry Fruit Salad is a refreshing and colorful dish perfect for summer gatherings. It combines juicy watermelon, fresh berries, and a zesty lime-honey dressing with aromatic mint. Quick to prepare and highly versatile, it’s a crowd-pleaser that suits many occasions.

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 6–8 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 watermelon (3–4 lbs., cut into cubes)

  • 1 cup strawberries (hulled and sliced)

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

  • 1 cup fresh cherries (pitted and halved)

  • 2 limes

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint (chopped)

Instructions

  • Slice the watermelon into thick rounds, remove the rind, and cut into medium cubes. Drain excess juice.

  • Wash and hull the strawberries; slice them into halves or quarters. Add to the watermelon.

  • Rinse raspberries gently and set aside. Pit and halve cherries; add to the bowl.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice and honey until smooth. Add chopped mint and stir.

  • Pour the dressing over the fruit mixture and toss gently, avoiding crushing the raspberries.

  • Add raspberries last and toss softly one more time.

  • Cover and chill in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust fruit quantities as desired.

  • Substitute mint with fresh basil if preferred.

  • Use maple syrup or agave nectar instead of honey for a vegan option.

  • Serve chilled for best flavor and texture.
