- 8 oz full-fat cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
Instructions
- Prepare Strawberries: Wash and slice strawberries and mix with 1 tablespoon of sugar to draw out juices.
- Make Dough: In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and sugar. Add softened butter and mix until crumbly. Gradually stir in milk to form a soft dough.
- Prepare Filling: Beat cream cheese, vanilla extract, and sugar in another bowl until smooth.
- Assemble Rolls: Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over dough, sprinkle with strawberries, then tightly roll from one end to another.
- Slice Rolls: Cut rolled dough into 2-inch thick pieces and place on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
